以結構生物學為主要手段,緊密結合新藥研發(fā),著眼于與人類重大疾病和重要生理功能相關的蛋白質(zhì)及其復合體的結構與功能的關系,闡明生物大分子與小分子化合物在結構與功能方面的分子作用機理,為藥物的分子設計提供思路;同時,通過解析生物大分子及其復合物的三維結構,為藥物設計提供一個分子水平上的模板 。
